Income Convergence of Croatia Within the European Union: An Empirical Analysis of Fractional Integration
Croatian Review of Economic, Business and Social Statistics, Vol. 11 No. 1, pp. 35–49
Abstract
The study examines Croatia's income convergence over the period from 2000 to 2024 with respect to four groups of countries using fractional integration methodology. Results show convergence toward EU15 and SE4 groups but not toward newer member states, suggesting alignment with older EU and Southern European economies.
